New Bewerley Community School is a vibrant, inclusive primary school with a dedicated Resource Provision for children with complex needs. We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Lead Practitioner for SEMH to join our team and take a lead on fostering emotional well-being, academic progress, and a nurturing environment for all our pupils.

We are looking for an excellent experienced Lead Practitioner for SEMH to join our friendly and hard working team.

The successful candidate will be:
- A passionate and experienced practitioner with a deep understanding of SEMH and a strong commitment to inclusion.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading teams and supporting colleagues in developing best practices for SEMH provision.
- A clear belief in high aspirations for all pupils and a commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices, with previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a determination to overcome barriers to learning and emotional well-being.
- Relevant qualifications in SEN, SEMH, or related fields and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary & Benefits

SO1 term time only + 5 days (pro-rata)
37.5 hours per week
