School Uniform

At New Bewerley Community School, we wear our school uniform to secure a feeling of community within school. For this reason, we ask that all children in school wear the following:
- White or light blue shirt or polo shirt
- Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
- Grey or black trousers
- Grey or black skirt / pinafore dress
- Blue and white gingham summer dress
- Grey or black shorts
- Black shoes or trainers (no white marks)
Book Bags
Book bags can be bought from the school office.
PE Kit:
At New Bewerley Community School, children take part in weekly PE lessons. During this time, children can come to school in their PE kits. We expect them to wear:
- Black shorts or jogging bottoms
- White t-shirt or polo top
- Trainers for outdoor games
- Black pumps for indoor games
- Plain black hoodie
Swimming
In Year 5, children will take part in swimming lessons. For this they will need:
- Trunks or lycra shorts
- A one-piece swimming costume (No bikinis/tankinis)
- No jewellery to be worn for swimming.
- Towel
Jewellery
No jewellery should be worn.
Discreet plain earrings (studs) may be worn with no more than one per ear. Children may wear a watch, but not a smartwatch. All jewellery must be able to be removed for sporting/physical activities for Health and Safety reasons.
Hair
Hair accessories should be plain and in line with school colours. Long hair should be tied up when in school where possible. Long hair should also be tied up for PE lessons.
School Uniform Suppliers
Our school uniform provider is The Uniform Centrewhich is located in Morley.
You can also order school uniform from the Main Office. If you would like to do this, it must be ordered by Monday 1st July 2024. This gives school the opportunity to order your request and ensure it is in school before the end of this academic year. You can also purchase a book bag from the Main Office.
Alternatively, all main supermarkets and department stores stock non-logo items of school uniform.
